Wizard of Oz poster

Contrast

For contrast, I made The Wizard of Oz bigger than anything else on the poster because the title is the most important thing. I made the date bold but way smaller than the title because it is important know what day the play is. The ticket cost is below the title but not bold because you don't want it to be the first thing to catch your eye, but it also has some importance. And I made the producers smaller since it isn't that important to anyone looking at the poster.

Alignment

For alignment, I placed the title between the two broken parts of the yellow brick road to fill in the gap. I made the tickets emails center alined with the poster. I didn't really line up the date with anything because I wanted the white to be in the center of the green so it would catch your eye.The producers I lined up with the right side of the poster.

Repetition

I used the color white a s repetition on the poster. It was easier to see if I put it on the green parts of the poster. It helped it stand out. I also used the same font for the ticket cost, emails, producers, date,  and Olathe Northwest Theater. It fit well with the title's font even though the font wasn't the same.

Proximity

For space, I put the thins that didn't go together  farther apart than the things that went together. I put the emails and ticket price together. They went together so you would know where to purchase tickets from. The date I separated from the producers because they didn't fit well with each other.
